Rudder system for Nortik Scubi 2XL
Despite the excellent tracking results of the Nortik Scubi line due to the combination of keel rods and V-shape floor, there are situations in which a steering system can help:
in strong cross winds, swell, solo use / little load, smaller rivers, sails, …
In these cases, with the rudder system installed, the arms can continue to concentrate on paddling and the legs keep the course. When not in use / landing, the rudderblade can simply be lifted up.
The simple and ingenious construction is assembled in a few simple steps and can be individually adjusted to the length of the leg. The control cables are installed once and can remain in / on the boat for transport.
